UNBELIEVABLE: How one good Catholic became an apostate

This is my personal story. In it I describe the process of how I lost faith in Catholicism, then Christianity, and, ultimately, belief in God. It will be introduced in parts as I complete them.

Once completed, it may be quite lengthy, so in the meantime the reader may prefer the shorter version. But for those with the time and inclination, I believe these pages will give a fuller account, and in the process show how completely irrevocable was my decision to reject theistic religion.

What do I hope to gain by this "confession"? I'm not sure, other than perhaps achieving some personal catharsis. Besides that, if what I have to say here leads others to at least question the basic assumptions which they have, perhaps uncritically, accepted all their lives, I will feel some measure of satisfaction - even if that person ultimately chooses to remain a believer.

Apart from that, I hope what I have to share will interest the reader, but most of all, I hope it will challenge them.
